Weak apartment WiFi usually comes down to router placement, thick concrete/brick walls, or channel congestion from dozens of neighbouring networks in the same building. For a 1–2 bedroom unit, a single good WiFi 6 router centrally placed is often enough. For larger apartments, multi-level townhouses, or persistent dead zones, a Mesh system with wired backhaul between nodes gives the most reliable result — far more consistent than a single router with an extender.
