Four steps: (1) check your address's connection type at nbnco.com.au (FTTP/FTTN/HFC/FTTC/FTTB); (2) choose a retailer (RSP) — Aussie Broadband and Superloop are consistently well-reviewed with students; (3) NBN Co books a technician visit if your address needs one (FTTP/FTTC usually do, HFC often doesn't); (4) configure your router with the PPPoE credentials your RSP emails you. The whole process typically takes 5–10 business days. We handle steps 2–4 for customers who'd rather not deal with it themselves.
