Temporary office & site internet, until the permanent line is live

The lease starts, the team arrives, and the business internet is not ready yet. We set up internet and WiFi for project offices, construction site offices and short-term workspaces, and can add security cameras on the same network.

Common situations

When you need temporary office internet

Most temporary networks start with a date that cannot move and an internet service that has not arrived.

01

New lease, no internet yet

Staff move in before the business line is live. A temporary setup keeps them working until it is.

02

Construction site offices

Site sheds and project offices need email, plans, video calls and cameras, often with no line on site.

03

Project rooms and swing space

Short-term teams during a refit, a project or a move, for weeks or months.

04

Cameras on site

Security cameras for gates, doors and storage on the same network as the office.

How we set it up

Our temporary office network setup

Set up quickly, run like a normal office network, and switched over cleanly when the permanent service is ready.

  • Internet arrangedWe check what the address can get and coordinate the service with the provider.
  • Office-grade WiFiCoverage for desks, meeting rooms and site sheds, with printers and screens on their own network.
  • Cameras on the same networkCCTV on its own VLAN, installed in the same visit.
  • Switch to the permanent lineWhen the business service is live, we can move the network over or set up your permanent office WiFi.
  • Pack-down when you are doneEquipment recovered and the temporary service closed off.
Network and CCTV together

Site office internet and security cameras together

Construction sites and temporary offices often need cameras as much as WiFi. They share the same internet service, sit on their own VLAN and are installed in the same visit, so one team looks after both.

  • Gates, doors and storage areas
  • Cameras on their own VLAN
  • One team for network and cameras

Estimated equipment

    Network requirements

Planning estimate only, not a quote. Assumes 1.5–2 devices per working person (about 1 for public events), about 50 devices per access point, roughly 900㎡ per access point on open floors (our 5,000㎡ warehouse used six), and typical per-person bandwidth for calls, browsing and uploads. Walls, steel, outdoor areas and what the venue can get change the design.

      Questions we get asked

Temporary office & site internet FAQ

Our business NBN is not ready. Can you get us online?

Yes. We check what the address can get and set up a temporary service and WiFi, so the team can work until the permanent line is live.

Can you set up internet in a construction site office?

Yes, where a service can be connected to the site. We arrange the connection, cover the site office and sheds, and can add security cameras on the same network.

Can you install security cameras as well?

Yes. Network and CCTV can be done together: cameras go on their own part of the network and are installed in the same visit.

How long can we keep the temporary setup?

As long as you need it, from a few weeks to several months. Tell us your expected end date and we will plan the service around it, and we can extend if things run over.

Can you move us to the permanent internet when it is ready?

Yes. We can switch the network over to the new service, or set up your permanent office WiFi so nothing has to be configured twice.

      Do you work outside Sydney?

Yes. Our team is based in Sydney and we take on projects across Australia. Tell us the address and dates and we will plan it with you.
