It happens all the time and it feels like a scam: you sign up with Superloop but start getting texts or emails from Exetel; or you order Vodafone broadband and a TPG-branded router arrives in the post. You're not being scammed. Many Australian ISPs share ownership, wholesale networks or back-office systems, so notifications, hardware and even support can come from a partner brand.

How the wholesale model creates this批发模式怎么造成这种情况
Remember Australia splits building the network from selling it (see Australia vs China broadband). On top of that, retail brands buy, merge and white-label each other's services. So a company you signed with might actually run its lines, billing back-end, or hardware fulfilment through another company you've never heard of. The logo on your bill and the logo on your SMS don't have to match.
